The Küng recorders of the STUDIO series have been a popular choice for years for beginners as well as for experienced ensemble players. They stand out with their easy handling and warm, pleasant sound.
The Küng STUDIO series comprises five sizes of recorders, from Garklein to Tenor. All of them are made of local woods such as pear, maple, and cherry, which contributes to their characteristic warm sound.
With the exception of the Garklein, the STUDIO recorders are well suited for beginners and ensembles. They have wide and straight windways that won’t clog easily.
Another advantage for beginners is that the finger holes are very easy to grip and, depending on the recorder, drilled at an angle to place them more closely together. This facilitates a comfortable playing position in particular for smaller hands.
